Big White Ski ResortWith 24ft of annual snow fall, the finest dry champagne powder snow and lots of sunshine Big White Ski Resort is fast becoming the most popular resort in Canada, especially for family ski vacations. Voted “Best weather” by Ski Canada magazine.

There are over 118 ski runs, five powder bowls and the world class Telus free style snow Boarding Park.  The huge outdoor skating rink, the mega coaster tube rides, cross country skiing, snow mobiling and many other activities will keep you highly entertained.

Big White has almost 2,800 acres of terrain making it the second biggest mountain in Canada.  The mountain is geared to all levels of skiing and snow boarding with well groomed runs and 16 fast modern lifts (no waiting in queues).  There are runs perfect for beginners and intermediates as well as above tree-line skiing challenges for the much more advanced. Night skiing is available Tuesdays to Saturdays.

The resort village is Canadas’ largest totally Ski-in Ski-out village. There are 17 restaurants cafes and bars, village shopping, family entertainment including regular après-ski with live bands, fireworks and carnivals. Big White has everything you need for a thrilling and magical holiday.

The Big White Ski Resort sits within the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, it’s around 45 minutes drive from the nearest town Kelowna.  There are non stop flights into Kelowna from Vancouver and Seattle and regular daily shuttle services to the resort.

Big White Ski Resort -kidsThe Big White Kids Centre is where kids go to have the time of their lives – it is the ultimate kids playground!  Parents of course get to have the time of their lives too on the slopes without having to worry about their kids.

The Kids Centre is structured to provide a safe learning environment for children to improve their skiing and board skills.  There are wide open runs which are perfect for development and getting your children on the slopes and around the resort.  Safety helmets are provided free of charge.

The Kids Centres own chef prepares fresh lunches and snacks from a rotating menu of wholesome nutritious kid-friendly food with juice and hot chocolate.

Big White - Tot Town Daycare

Ideal for pre-school children 18 months – 5 years and children who do not wish to ski all day. The Daycare centre provides daily activities and adventure both indoor and outdoor. Maximum 24 spaces so pre-booking is essential.

CROSS COUNTRY
25 km (15.5 miles) of incredible Nordic trails groomed for both skate and classic technique.

MEGA SNOW COASTER 
You can jump in a tube and speed downhill on North America’s largest resort tubing park.

SNOWMOBILE TOURS 
This activity takes you on a guided scenic tour through the forest trails and back country of Big White. Drivers must have a current drivers’ license. Drivers under 19 require parent or guardian to sign a waiver. The tour includes safety gear and hot chocolate.

SNOWSHOEING 
Tour the wooded trails on foot and see the mountain’s breathtaking beauty

ICE SKATING  
Hire skates and test your hockey skills on one of the two huge outdoor frozen ponds.

HORSE DRAWN SLEIGH RIDES
A Canadian Sleigh Ride in an old fashioned horse drawn sleigh through the wilderness and wintry landscape covered in deep snow.
